Tuesday, November twenty-first, a three alarm fire broke out in the executive offices of Balboa causing an estimated $250,000.00 damage.

The fire was first noticed by scavengers when windows were blown out by the heat. The blew centered itself on the counseling
office which contained all of the students records. Flames spread outside the building to the second floor doing damage to room 207 above the office.

No one was hurt, but a rescue squad was called by chief William Murry because of the dense smoke. Chief Murry called it "a suspicious
fire" and ordered a thorough investigation on the suspicious arson.

All classes were canceled until Monday, November 27. Now there is nothing left to do, but rebuild , paint, and fight off the smell in our
School
